Gwendolyn had a head ultrasound today to track the progress of her hydrocephalus. We are happy to report the Neurosurgeon said that while it is still present, it hasn’t gotten any worse. That, combined with the fact that Gwen’s head is still on an normal growth curve and that she’s not exhibiting any signs of shunt malfunction, means that she won’t have to be looked at again until her next Spinal Defects Clinic visit in the fall. Well, let’s clarify that statement… She won’t be examined again when it comes to a spina bifida related issue. Now if we could solve her whole congestion, breathing, apnea problems, we’d REALLY be onto something!!!
While Gwendoly was at the hospital, Braelyn was once again enjoying her time as an "only child" at daycare.
The only other news fit for an update is that girls are both anxiously awaiting their guests from Florida… In fact, they donned their summer sun hats this afternoon to get in the mood. After all, Friday will be here before they know it!!!
